An educational facility devoted to awareness of nature, the Schrader Environmental Education Center runs many programs and classes aimed at youths and school groups. Built with environmentally friendly materials and design, the center runs bird watching programs, nature hikes and programs for families. The center is located on the east side of town, near Wheeling Jesuit University.
