Established in 1925, Wheeling Park features over 400 acres of recreational opportunities, including scenic hiking trails, tennis courts, a soccer field, and an Olympic-sized swimming pool. Its rolling hills also hide such treasures as the Frank Rock Garden, the Memorial Ice Rink, and the glorious "Madonna of the Trail" statue. The park lies on the east side of town, near Wheeling Jesuit University.
